Pre-order a collectible stein and get one free beer ticket – steins sold on-site do not include beer tickets. Pre-ordered steins will be available for pickup beginning Friday (see below for schedule) at the south end of the festival near Main Street and Park Avenue. Steins not pre-ordered can be purchased at either venue entrance (Main and Park or Main and Lincoln), but don’t include beer tokens. And of course, you don’t need to purchase a stein to drink beer!
Oktoberfest beers and wine
Breckenridge Oktoberfest features traditional German beer from Paulaner (wiesn, marzen and hefeweizen) as well as local flavor from the Breckenridge Brewery (Lucky U IPA, Agave Wheat and Vanilla Porter). Wine (both red and white), gluten-free beer and non-alcoholic beer will also be served.
Acquiring libations is simple: be 21 or over; purchase drink tokens with cash or credit card; get beer and wine with drink tickets. One token fills a half-liter stein, or can be used to purchase a wine, gluten-free beer or non-alcoholic beer. It takes two tokens to fill a liter stein.
Once you purchase drink tickets, they are valid any day of the festival. However, there are NO refunds on drink tickets, so pay attention to time.

Families at Breckenridge Oktoberfest
Breck’s Oktoberfest typically sees the biggest crowds on Saturday; to avoid the most hectic times, local families tend to come out on Sundays, or even Friday afternoon. A family play area with inflatables (for a charge) will be located near the intersection of Main Street and Jefferson Avenue. The Riverwalk Center lawn (just across the river from the Welcome Center) will also be a good place for families to kick back. And of course, a busy Saturday downtown means lots of freedom for families at the Fun Park or on the trails.
New for 2015
New for 2015, football fans can catch their favorite college and NFL games throughout the weekend on the big-screen digital television set up at Main Street and Jefferson Avenue.
